I made a cozy for my camera that isn't fold over but has one snap so isn't too much of a bother. Here's a picture of it here.
I made a lot of different things so it isn't that weird to ask me for suggestions but I do tend to wing it a lot. I don't knit though. I've tried but it hasn't worked out that well. I do crochet, I think that is why I find it so difficult to knit. Knitting just feels wrong to my hands after crocheting for so many years.
